Chatter Tongue Gossip

Thoughts on Love, Sex & Entertainment

Congressman, Pete King, spoke out today voicing his opinion on all of the attention that Michael Jackson’s death has received over the past weeks.  He was reported as saying that he feels that the American people should be honoring the men and women of the Armed Forced, not  a “pedophile” and “child molester” like Michael Jackson.

The Congressman bashed America’s celebration of the life of Michael Jackson, the “King of Pop” instead of honoring and giving thanks to the people who serve in the armed forces.
It’s safe to say King wasn’t one of the 1.6 million people who signed up for memorial tickets.

Watch the video of his statements here.<!– POST CONTENTS END –>

  1. It’s a shame people like this are even considered “leaders in our country.” Regardless of your personal opinion Congressman (which have no facts to support them), have the decency to keep your comments to yourself while his family is mourning. Michael Jackson and his family deserve that respect. i don’t belive michael is any of that i believe he was just a famous and talented guy that someone just wanted money off of him by telling a lie.

  2. I agree with you cookie…. He may or may not have done what he was accused of, I don’t know… But that doesn’t lessen the pain that the family is feeling right now. At least let them get him burried before everyone starts slinging mud at him. I hope the family is not listening to the media… They should be used to being in the spot light and knows by now not to read or even listen to the media.

  3. Where did the “good” congressman say this — on the fixed noise channel?? Figures… When will these self-righteous politicians learn that people in glass houses shouldn’t lob stones around so freely? Today he calls Michael Jackson a pedophile (even thought he’s never been found guilty), and tomorrow it might be him who’s catching the spotlight in a men’s room or Buenos Aires or with a prostitute. Mr. King needs to go stand in the corner with Gov. Sandford and the likes, get their opinion on talking trash about folks…

  6. It is quite evident that Mr King hasn’t read that Micheal Jacksons was acquited on all counts of any child molestation in the criminal trial. This parent and child filed a lawsuit with JC Penney and also making false accusations was proven wrong and to be just money hungry in that case. There are money grabbing people who will go to great lengths to get money–even lie abot being molested. Micheal was acquited in the criminal trial hands down. Micheal settled the civil suit because he stated he couldn’t take any more and it wasn’t worth it to him any more. IN THIS COUNTRY YOU ARE INNOCENT UNITL PROVEN GUILTY!!
If you have proof he molested a child then prove it–> other wise –>for the sake of Micheal’s children SHUT UP. They are going thru enough by losing their father then having to hear rubbish from people like you!!

  7. Sorry I’m not a woman but I liked your blog and wanted to comment in MJ’s direction of what happened on the cases, and why Peter King should research before he makes himself look like an ass.

How truly sad America is becoming. Let me reiterate the truth which is well documented, but covered up by mainstream media.

First off, the 25 million paid out to the childs father in 1993 was done so by Jacksons insurance company against Jackson and his advisors wishes. Anyone who remotely believes that just because a civil settlement is reached, that criminal charges are not filed is a truly ignorant and uneducated fool, which I see sadly that many here are. Had there been any evidence whatsoever, then Jackson would have been tried in a criminal court of law. No ifs ands or buts about it. The fact is that DA Tom Sneddon went before 2 Grand Juries with no evidence and both threw the case out due to not a shred of evidence. USA Today did a story in 1994 corraborating the fact the the description of Jacksons genitalia by the boy was completely inaccurate. Both boy and father would not testify in a case because their testimonies did not add up.

In 2005 the Arvizo family after consulting multiple civil lawyers (all but one refusing to work their case) and a phychiatrist (coincidentally the same one from the 1993 episode) then they proceeded in filing charges. They were attempting to just settle as Chandler did in 1993 first before learning that they must first file charges and win a case against the defendent before a civil trial could commence as instituted into law after the 1993 Jackson episode. With absolutely no evidence but their words they went to trial. The Arvizo family’s testimonies were found to be so ambiguous and full of holes, as well as being caught in lies on numerous occasions, that they were shown any lack of credibility. Furthermore the mother was shown to be extoting the welfare system, as well as filing similar allegations against JCPenney in a ludicrous attempt to extort money after her and her children were caught shoplifting. What a great value system in this family. Janet Arvizo (mother) was remarked by witnesses to have been commenting on how she was gonna come into money after having first met Jackson. She was reported by the local papers as using her sons medical condition to receive pity donations which she wanted made out to her including bank account number and all. A jury of 12 non African American men and women deliberated the case extensively for several months and found Jackson not guilty of all 10 charges including 4 misdemeanor charges.

On both cases hundreds of children were questioned and not one other child had experienced anything remotely close to molestation. Pediphelia is proven to occur over long periods of time with many many victims involved, and in both cases it was proven the families were a complete joke.

Any individual with a huge mass of money is subject to the most scandalous and vile people with no type of moralality or ethics. But as is always the case people do not choose to recognize the truth, and as the bible states, those who THINK they are wise are blinded by the truth of justice, and shall be judged by the measure they judge others.

    • LJ, Thank you for the information. Your post was the best summary of Michael Jackson’s court cases that I have read so far. It is amazing how often this can happen do any individual. Wasn’t it not proven years after that the entire molestation cases of the daycare in CA was also based on bogus testimony. If I remember right, that went to trial and the mother and son were found guilty. Only years later did the children recant and it was proven how the child psychologists manipulated the children to testify. I wholeheartedly agree with your post. I think that Michael misjudged or maybe was naive to the fact of evil people in the world.

I also wanted to let you know, that when Margie and I started this blog, we were going to have it as women’s thoughts. As we have gone along, we are in the process of redesigning our goal. We are very close to having our new domain Chatter Tongue Gossip up and running and want we want to do is get female vs male thoughts on different subjects. So please stick around if you like or blog, we welcome men and women! In fact, we will be adding a male writer to our team.

  8. sorry I didn’t mean sadly many here are as in commentors in this blog, but as in the case of Peter Kings lackies and those defending his position all over the nation. I saw how that could be misconstrued and wanted to clarify, thank you.
