People Magazine – RAISES MORE QUESTIONS ABOUT MICHAEL’S DEATH THAN IT ANSWERS

The following article appeared in People Magazine.  It started out with a statement from Joe Jackson, Michael’s father, but continued with more perplexing information that I found raised more questions than it answered.  I scraped the article from People and will add questions throughout it as we go…

A day after Michael Jackson’s death, a cloud of deep sadness – mixed with growing anger – has descended on the Jackson family home in Encino, where Joe and Katherine Jackson and their children have gathered to mourn. “We’re holding a family meeting now,” Joe told PEOPLE in a brief interview midday.

“We don’t like what’s going on.” A source close to the family tell PEOPLE that, while the adults of the family put up a brave front on Friday for Michael’s three children – Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7 – the emotions on Saturday are raw and bitter. ‘The Sadness is Unreal’ “The kids have fallen apart today,” says the source. “They have taken it so, so hard. Yesterday everybody was being really strong for the kids, but today it just hit everybody. There are so many tears.”

A sharp division has opened between Michael Jackson’s lawyers and personal staff and his parents and eight siblings. “There is so much sadness in the house today, it’s unreal. They are so confused. They are so in the dark,” says the source.

I’m confused.  What moral or legal rights do the staff and/or lawyers have to even be involved in a “sharp division” as described above?  They are all employees.  Are they following Michael’s wishes or direction that he may have given them in case of his death?

I’m sure that Michael’s lawyers are going to make as much money off of Michael’s death as possible.  It has already been reported that “Michael’s Lawyers will make their careers off of his death”.  Can someone not stop these lawyers before they drain Michael’s estate dry from their fee’s.  I know that happens quite often.  Lawyers will keep an estate tied up in litigation until the remaining value of the estate is nonexistent.  In Michael’s case, however, his estate is close to being bankrupt but stands  a good chance of being well into the black due to the performers death.

The statement also make reference to the division being between Michael’s parents and his 8 siblings.    What is that all about?  Is this somehow tied in to Janet’s arrival at the Michael’s estate with two moving vans yesterday morning?

“The family has no access to the will. [Michael’s lawyers] won’t let the family see the will … The family has no idea what to do. They don’t even know when to bury him. They don’t know what to do about anything. They aren’t getting any answers from Michael’s lawyers.” Mrs. Jackson Rebuffed Even Katherine Jackson, the singer’s mother – who reportedly visited the singer’s Los Angeles home yesterday to gather clothing for his burial – has been rebuffed by Michael’s camp, according to the source. “Michael’s people won’t give Mrs. Jackson anything.”

If this information is correct the law needs to get involved or are they already?  If this is correct, it is just wrong.  Why is the family not being allowed to view the will?  Why was his own mother not allowed to retrieve clothing for her son’s funeral?  Who started the rumor that she had and was it an attempt to cover up something more sinister?  And “Who the HELL is “Michael People”?  Is that the staff, lawyers, what?

Why was Janet allowed to enter Michael’s home yesterday with no problem when other family members, including his mother, kept out?  Has what kept out her own mother resolved?  Had Michael left specific instructions not to let anyone enter his estate until Janet had the opportunity to remove whatever it was that she removed?  Was it things that he specifically wanted her to have?  Was it evidence that may tarnish his reputation even more?

There is more, a lot more to this story than is known or at least being told…

Another source of deep concern for the family: The intentions of Debbie Rowe, Jackson’s former wife and the mother of his two older children, whose lawyer yesterday confirmed that Rowe retains parental rights. The Jackson’s apparently fear that Rowe, who has not lived with the children in a year, may now want to raise them. “They haven’t heard from Debbie Rowe and don’t know what’s going on in that respect, either. Joe and Katherine really want the children,” says the source. “They for sure want the children.”

I don’t know about California, but if I’m not mistaken, where I live child abandonment can be filed after one year and the parents rights can be stripped.  I am sure Rowe will be climbing out of the wood work soon although nothing has been heard thus far.  There are rumors that she was actually just a surrogate in which case I’m sure Jackson’s lawyers will have documentation of this and will be able to keep her at bay.

Independent Autopsy Another source close to the family tells PEOPLE that the family is so concerned about the reliability of Jackson’s handlers that there is a possibility that patriarch Joe Jackson, now acting once again as the family chief, will request an independent autopsy. “They’re in shock and they want answers,” the source says.

I don’t blame the family for wanting  a second Autopsy.  There has been too much speculation about the cause of performer death.  The family will need these answers to have any closure.

“The issue is the people around him: vampires and blood suckers.” About the only positive development, says this source, is the rare sense of unity that now unites the large and fractious family. “They are coming together and Joe is running the show. It was tough for them all growing up, but the parents never stole from Michael and they had his best interests at heart.”
